Although Barry was only ten years old when his grandfather and father went into business together, he was right there from the very beginning, learning the ropes of the oil and gas business. It wasn’t until 1979 that he went on the payroll, but his knowledge and experience in the field goes way back to the beginning of Huffman-Bowers, Inc.  Barry has dedicated endless hours and worked diligently to uphold the integrity of his family’s business. It’s his livelihood and he loves what he does. You might even say that oil runs through his veins, rather than blood. Barry is always looking for a way to improve the company and take it to the next level. Involvement in the community has always been important to Barry.  He volunteered as a firefighter on the New Lexington Fire Department for almost twenty years and even served as the assistant chief for many years. He has been a member of the Perry County Agricultural Society for 13 years. He also serves as a member of the Perry County Republican Central Committee, the local Eagles, Board member of SOOGA and member of OOGA. Barry is also a Co-owner of Triple B Services.
